Last blog post, we talked about the materials used in an N95 mask and how to spot a fake n95 mask. Today, we will continue to share with you on how to prevent buying fake N95 mask. You should be aware of those who are misrepresenting NIOSH approval to market their product.

First let’s talk about what does NIOSH means?

It stands for National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. NIOSH is part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the US. Department of Health and Human Services.

On the CDC website, NIOSH has a list of manufactures and examples of Misrepresentation of NIOSH approval to alert users, purchasers and manufactures. You can check out this link to see the list of manufactures and their marketing fraud. Hopefully this information helps you on your next decision when your buying mask.
